STUDENTS
Back to School Night is Thursday, September 2nd at 6:00pm. Students will be bringing home a flyer with details soon.
Minimum Day on Friday, September 3rd. Dismissal is at 12:38pm. Lunch will be served in the cafeteria after school.
Junior Class of 2012: T-shirts on sale in the front office with Mrs. Caler. Cost of shirt is $10.00, Medium and Large sizes only.
Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors—What you do today, counts tomorrow. Students with a truancy letter for absences or tardies, behavioral issues, or grade averages less than 2.0 will not be awarded the Off-Campus Pass Honor during your Senior Year -It is NOT an entitlement. Again, it is an earned privilege.
***CLASS OF 2013*** Designs for class T-shirt are to be turned into Ms Holleran (S-11) or Ms Homich (B-12) by the end of the school day on Monday Aug 30. If you are unable to drop it off, post it on the 2013 web site
You may now sign up in the counseling office if you would like an appt. with our new college advisor, Lucero Torres. Take advantage of this great advising opportunity. She will be taking appts beginning Monday.
Freshman- Are you interested in joining Student Council? Come into the office during lunch or after school to pick up a packet.
Juniors and Seniors, There are still a few openings for work experience. If you have a job or would like the volunteer option for credits see Mr. Nordhues or Mrs. Hansen in the career center by Friday.
Junior Class: Please ask your parents if they can donate the following items to help with decorating during homecoming week: duct tape, blue painters tape, cardboard (all sizes), poster paints (all colors), blue & gold streamers. Be sure to Thank them!
FRESHMEN – need a class T-shirt? Want an extra one just in case? Stop by C7, Mrs. Abin’s room to buy yours - $15.
Dance tickets on sale today, in front of the library, during both lunches. Presale tickets are $5.00 and $7.00 at the door. Please bring a form of identification.
SENIORS
Seniors Portraits in the Yearbook: If you want your Senior portrait in the yearbook you MUST HAVE Prestige Portraits take your picture. They will be back on campus, for the FINAL time, on September 8th – 10th. There is NO sitting fee – call Pat Loftus at 510-372-1544 to schedule an appt.

Remember to act appropriately, both on and off the Will C. Wood High School Campus. Any inappropriate behavior or decrease in academic standing or attendance will find your Off-Campus Lunch Pass revoked.
CLUB MEETINGS & INFORMATION
Attention all Mathletes! Math Club is having its first meeting on Tuesday, August 31st in room S15 after school. We will be electing officers and planning out the year. See you there!
Anyone interested in art club, come to a brief meeting on Tuesday August 31st right after school in D-3, we need to get ready for club rush. Ms. Jones

GAME CLUB will meet in room S-08 after school today to elect officers and plan events for this quarter. New members welcome.

Seniors have been issued Off-Campus Lunch Passes. A Senior in excellent academic standing, attendance, and behavior is awarded this privilege. Please let the office know if one of your Seniors, attends your class late, after lunch.
